Visão panorâmica da história da literatura inglesa da Era Vitoriana aos autores contemporâneos, focalizando a estética desses períodos, os principais fatores políticos e sociais, os autores e as obras mais significativas, capacitando o aluno na análise de uma obra literária (poema, conto e romance). Discussão e elaboração de estratégias de ensino de literatura na Educação Básica.
