  • Forest botanical identification becomes more complex when only wood is available to define the species, as this subjective and difficult process requires a deeper analysis of its characteristics by specialists, increasingly scarce and not always available depending on the situation. , where the result may take weeks to be issued. Thus, the objective of this work is to use infrared spectroscopy in an automatic identification process as a guarantee of great accuracy and speed in the recognition of wood species. For the development, a portable spectrometer will be used to capture infrared spectra, with reflectance values within 740-1070 nm of a sample quantity of 10 Amazonian species with 100 dry wood specimens of different origins at 12% humidity each , being collected the spectra in two cut planes with 1000 repetitions per species/plane, resulting in 20,000 spectra in the database. The project is in the development phase, where the spectra were collected and the verification and testing phase started with the creation of an automatic recognition system. The species were selected according to criteria of local commercial importance and defined by commercial groups. So far it can be seen that out of the 10 species collected we have obtained some identifications, which validates the importance of developing this project. These collections will serve as a local collection and with the creation of an identification model for each species according to their characteristics informed by the spectra, it will be possible to have the development of a technology for automatic forest identification.

  • The paper presents a study on Innovation in Public Administration and the relationship with Higher Education in Brazil, using the Federal University of Western Pará (Ufopa) as a reference, and proposes new ways of optimizing the management, monitoring and use of Postgraduate financial resources in this case study. The methodological approach was qualitative, using a bibliographic and documentary base, and the help of qualified informants (coordination and secretariats of postgraduate programs, Postgraduate Directorate, Planning Directorate and Ufopa's Evaluation and Institutional Information Directorate). The theoretical aspect highlights the financial limitations in the financing of Higher Education, directed at Postgraduate Studies in Brazil, in addition to the internal limitations in the application of resources; in the practical aspect, the instrumentalization for the use of resources and, with this, positively impact the use of resources by teachers and students, which will have a positive impact on society. There is little literature that analyzes and discusses innovation in the management of resources in postgraduate studies. In addition, there are obstacles to the advancement of innovation in federal public management in this area, and this becomes more important because over time there have been fluctuations in the financing of public higher education and this has had an impact on postgraduate studies with a reduction in the application of resources. The study therefore proposes a manual and an online information panel using Business Intelligence (BI) systems to monitor the use of resources, to assist postgraduate programs in the use of their financial resources, as an element of management and innovation in the federal public education sector, and public governance.

  • The changes resulting from urbanization processes in a disorderly way have generated serious global consequences, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA) carbon dioxide emissions increased to historic levels in the year 2021. In this way, rethink cities aiming at smarter management of its resources may
positively affect the reversal of this situation. Therefore, the concept of smart cities has been used by several cities in the world, aiming at sustainability combined with technological tools. It is a goal of the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations Organization for Sustainable Development, to encourage sustainable urban mobility through non-offensive alternative means of transport, such as the use of bicycles and walks and public means of transport. From this perspective, this work carried out a survey of data on innovative policies and actions regarding urban mobility by bicycle from the perspective of the concept of smart cities. Applying the systematic review research method on concepts, actions and policies with a "smart cities" approach, in order to structure relevant data on sustainable urban mobility and urban cycling mobility. In addition, a survey was carried out of policies and actions already implemented by other Brazilian municipalities to raise ideas and models that are already successful cases and that could perhaps be replicated in Santarém/PA. Therefore, this work presents possible actions of solutions for urban mobility by bicycle in Santarém in a database presented in the format of a website with proposition of themes to be discussed in greater depth in future works in this line of research.

  • The Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is an intelligent way to test the success of an idea before investing financial resources or one's own time into it. Therefore, the objective of this work is to present the process and the product developed in the Master's program in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation (PROFNIT). The developed product aims to automate, manage, and support all sta- ges involving facilitators, mentors, and teams in the event. Its development was based on the execution methodology, organization, and specific tools of the VIA Estação Conhecimento hackathon. For the creation of the product, the decision was made to follow the agile development methodology known as Scrum and the best practices of software engineering. It was identified that the minimum viable product can be considered a crucial stage, especially in the development of new products. We can expect more hackathons to become instruments of innovation, allowing companies and government organizations to solve complex problems in a simple and innovative manner.

  • Globalization, innovations, and the COVID-19 pandemic promoted changes in negotiations through communication digitalization using digital media. Therefore, Micro and Small (MSEs) had to adapt abruptly. To mitigate impacts and generate competitiveness, a know-how transferring was proposed using the theoretical approach Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE), the European Competency Assessment Framework (DIGICOMP), and digitally aligned business models. In this sense, we sought to answer the following questions: Q1- What factors prevent MSEs' communication digitalization? Q2 - What digital strategies can help increase the competitiveness of MSEs? For this purpose, bibliographical, documental, prescriptive, and quantitative-qualitative research-action research was conducted with MSEs in Santarém - Pará. Didactic materials were developed, specifically guidelines and instructional media programs for digital communication process adequacy; they were developed from data collected and training, whose results were measured. To align the methodology, a pilot was carried out with 11 MSEs, and later in 15 MSEs, the results showed that despite the available technology, digital media were not fully utilized by MSEs. The main barriers to adapting to digital were the entrepreneurs' time, lack of soft skills such as leadership and organization, lack of training in digital resources, and generating low employee skills. The influencing factors were flexibility, market pressure, and public policies. It was found that there is room to gain competitiveness by using digital media based on the development of strategic planning and skills.

  • Bearing in mind that the production of Piracuí de Monte Alegre has a quality differential, due to the large production of acari in its lakes, fish from which the best and traditional fish meal in the region of the lower and middle Amazon is made, this set of factors favors the registration of GI Geographical Indications, thus allowing to identify and value the local natural and human resources, therefore this research with this study format seeks to analyze the potentiality and feasibility of obtaining a geographical indication for flour from Piracuí de Monte Alegre . To do so, it was necessary to characterize the production of Piracuí flour in the municipality of Monte Alegre, thereby obtaining ten communities that produce and market the product in the municipality, with this mapping of the communities involved in the production, an analysis was carried out to find out if there were specificities in the production process in the communities identified as producers of flour from Piracuí, with this information collected, it was observed whether the need to provide technical support to producers interested in obtaining a seal of geographical indication or collective mark for flour from Piracuí de Monte Alegre suggested whether also a proposal for the development of a research project to continue this study, which will be coordinated by the Campus Universities de Monte Alegre, to facilitate the provision of information to producers interested in granting the seal of geographical indication for Flour from Piracuí de Monte Happy. Given the above, it was found that the appreciation of products and services from locations where there is a guarantee of origin of products contributes to local and regional development under the influence of GI, thus concluding the viability of producing communities and with potential for the production of Flour from Piracuí in a standardized and organized way, which imposes the verification that they have potential viability for obtaining the registration of indication.

  • Currently, the market is going through many transitions with a focus on innovation and technology, generating demands for professionals with new relational skills and problem solving, which cannot be supplied by traditional teaching methods. Attempts to combine technology and education were taken, as they are potentially efficient alternatives in reducing the distance between learning and social reality. In this context, the maker culture movement presents initiatives that can be applied to traditional teaching alternatives. The creation of a makerspace or makerspace brings the possibility of developing creative capacity and encouraging research and development of solutions to solve society's problems, combined with the social commitment that education must have, particularly in the northern region of the country. For this, we sought to know the already established practices and management models of makerspaces linked to universities, using in the review study coming from secondary sources, institutional websites, books, journal articles and articles from annals of events. Still, the methodology used consists of carrying out a content analysis on those responsible for the centers belonging to the FabLabs® network, and makerspaces in Brazil.

  • The process of interaction between the productive sector and the academic environment is capable of generating, producing and reproducing products, services or processes that can promote innovative solutions, generate value and bring benefits to society. And instruments that bring guidelines, procedures and organizational strategies can optimize the effectiveness of these partnerships in less stabilized institutions. The research aimed to contribute with the NITs of federal institutions of higher education (IFES) in the state of Pará in the realization of partnerships in research, development and innovation (RD&I), and partnerships that involve research with genetic heritage, in the optimization of technical procedures and formalization of appropriate legal instruments. To achieve the objectives of this work, an exploratory research was carried out, with a qualitative approach based on a bibliographical review and documental research. A relevant part of the survey and content analysis are normative references, and elements made available on the institutional websites of more established ICTs and bodies from Pará that promote actions to stimulate innovation in the state. As main results, it was found that the research and innovation actions and activities made available by the institutions are capable of promoting technological innovation in the national and regional productive system of the country. And they are capable of promoting interaction between the productive sector and the academic environment, but they do not correspond to the reality of ICTS in Pará, which have limitations in terms of human resources, qualified professionals, infrastructure, etc. And they lack organizational strategies that can contribute to their operational and management needs. As a perspective, it was suggested the construction of a practical partnership guide in Research, Development and Innovation for the Technological Innovation Centers (NITs) of federal institutions of higher education (IFES) in the State of Pará.

  • The technical-scientific knowledge of social technology such as the IrrigaPote project was a success in the context of a technological reference unit (URT), installed in the community of Lavras, in the west of Pará, municipality of Santarém. However, society's demands imposed new challenges on the teaching and research team. How to change the scale of technology coverage considering physical aspects, types and sizes of pots, identification of artisans, economic viability and new opportunities for irrigation solutions such as vegetables, gardening, in addition to intercropping crops on a rural property scale, similar to the IrrigaPote . The objective of this work was to model a business proposal based on the knowledge obtained with IrrigaPote to enable the expansion of the technology with high social, economic and environmental benefits. During the modelling process, there was an opportunity to participate in an event aimed at awakening entrepreneurship in the region, that is, Amazônia UP 2020. The logic of the business model took as its basic premise the potential of technology to add social benefits with water reuse rainwater, millenary technology using clay pots to supply water supplies in the soil to meet the demand for water by plants in dry periods. The core business maintains its focus on social impact, but financial strategies are maintained to make the dynamism of traditional businesses compatible with the philosophy of meeting social demands, adapting to new trends and new concepts of innovation following the sustainability assumptions in the scope of the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), according to the UN and the European Ecological Pact of 2019. It is concluded that the scientific knowledge added to the business model concepts made it possible to apply the principles of low-cost technology in the concept brand PotPlus able to meet different demands of society.

  • Considering that Universities are based on teaching, research, and extension pillars, it is imperative to use methods to assess their technical-scientific production. Through scientometrics, the technical-scientific contribution in certain areas is measured, identifying institutional potentials and opportunities. With the Federal University of Western Pará (UFOPA) case study, the following problems were observed in the management of their research: difficulty in collecting and organizing the institution's research data, integration with institutional systems, advertising, and transparency of productions technical-scientific. Such facts impact on better research management concerning resource allocation, for example. Aiming to solve the above problems, this work proposes the development of a software artifact for the management and publication of data related to the technical-scientific production of researchers linked to UFOPA. The artifact enables greater transparency, social inclusion of the university, and data-oriented decision-making capacity, assisting in the research and innovation management and evaluating technoscientific policies. The present work is being conducted according to the Design Science Research method, including the development of modules for automated data collection and analysis from the Lattes Platform, as well as visualization of Scientometric Indicators of technoscientific production. It is expected that the product will enable greater efficiency in public resources management, fostering inter and intra-institutional partnerships and increasing the research impact. The system is scalable and can be adopted by other Science and Technology Institutions.

  • Smart and Sustainable Cities are municipalities that offer their inhabitants a better quality of life due to technological, political and infrastructural arrangements, symbolizing a current strategy for urban sustainability when the United Nations' projections for the year 2050 point out that the urban population will represent 92% of the total in Brazil. Given the country's peculiarities regarding the accelerated and unplanned urbanization process, as well as the remarkable diversity that characterizes its municipalities, it is relevant to analyze how managers and legislators have understood the characteristics and needs of smart and sustainable cities in the country. In this way, the work aimed to map the current legislation on the subject in municipalities with more than 50 thousand inhabitants in Brazil and subsequent categorization and analysis of them. A total of 125 norms were found, of which 59 were categorized as norms to promote some of the dimensions of smart and sustainable cities, 44 as norms that deal with guidelines for the implementation of the model of smart and sustainable cities, 13 as norms that establish programs that reinforce the consolidation of some of the dimensions, 08 as norms that regulate a smart and sustainable city, strictly and 01 as the ratification of the contracts signed between the State of Maranhão and China Brazil Xinnenghuan International Investment Co., Ltd - CBSTeel, to building a smart and sustainable city. The analysis of the entire content of these norms made it possible to prepare a text on the most relevant aspects dealt with, as well as descriptive statistics and the main points of similarities and divergences present in the normative contents. It was found that in recent years, legislative proposals on the subject have become more common, demonstrating an effort by federative units and municipalities to anticipate the Union in the search for regulatory options to standardize principles and guidelines in order to govern their programs and smart and sustainable city projects.

  • The pressure injury relates to damage that occurs to the skin and/or underlying tissue as a result of pressure exerted by bone lumps or other objects on the tissue, and represents a problem of global magnitude. The damage caused in this injury can be prevented through repositioning practices and the use of pressure reducing devices. As recorded in the literature, the market has absorbed several prophylactic devices. However, not all are in compliance with the guidelines that address this type of injury. Considering this problem, through three scientific bases (PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science) and a technological one (Questel Orbit), this study aimed to map prophylactic technologies in accordance with the International Guideline for prevention and treatment of pressure injury. This study included documents published between 2009 and 2021 and excluded those whose methodologies did not involve the use of prophylactic technologies. Through the scientific databases, 506 publications were found and of these were selected 45 studies whose methodologies involved products related to prophylactic dressings, seat cushions, mattress, electronic devices, heel suspension devices, topical products and bed linen. Regarding Questel Orbit, 328 patent records were found and of these were selected 29 patents whose descriptions referred to heel suspension devices, socks, mattress and prophylactic dressings. In terms of scientific production, the United States of America was the country with the highest number of selected studies, followed by Israel and Australia. • The main objective of the present work was the elaboration and availability of the Manuals of Intellectual Property and of Good Practices for the Protection of Ufopa's Creations, which may serve as instruments for easier and more efficient access to basic information related to intellectual property and the main conducts that need to be adopted and shared by members of the academic community of Ufopa and by its institutional partners for the adequate protection of knowledge and creations with technological and commercial potential generated in this ICT, thus contributing to the dissemination of the culture of protection of intellectual property and consolidation of the University's Innovation Policy. To do so, exploratory and descriptive research was used, using a qualitative-quantitative approach and procedures of a bibliographic, documentary and case study nature. Thus, after collecting, organizing, tabulating and interpreting the results, it was possible to identify and select both the basic information on intellectual property contained in laws and other scientific and technical publications, as well as the conduct provided for in Ufopa's regulations, which were compared and integrated with the good practices implemented by UFMG, Unicamp and UFCG and with the other postures and actions identified in the literature, thus resulting in the list of basic information and good practices that were incorporated in the Manual. Furthermore, it was found, through this research: that the institutional culture of Ufopa is not yet oriented to the protection of knowledge and creations with technological and innovation potential; that the vision, values, PDI and other institutional documents that guide this entity still do not act as inducing elements of the process of spreading the culture of protection and valorization of intellectual property; that there is a need to institutionalize and implement the Secrecy and Confidentiality Policy, the Policy for the Maintenance and Abandonment of Creations and the Policy on Conflict of Interest, in order to strengthen the normative microsystem to protect the creations and interests of this university; and that Ufopa, in order to promote the conciliation and combination of the culture of protection of intellectual property and innovation with the organizational culture of Ufopa, needs to institutionalize and implement strategic educational, communication, incentive and recognition actions, to create internal networks innovation and structuring and professionalization of the AIT. Finally, it was also noticed that it is necessary that the construction of the AIT Virtual Platform be completed and present well-structured, optimized and interactive pages and a simple, functional and intuitive navigability, considering that this electronic portal can be used as the main channel of communication, guidance and interaction between AIT and its users.

  • Scientific and Technological and Innovation Institutions, with the help of Technology
Transfer Offices, have the challenge of implementing their Innovation Policies in the
academic environment, as well as approving Intellectual Property management
policies, developing legal instruments with the objective of regulating norms internal
processes to facilitate the transfer of technology. In this context, the Secrecy and
Confidentiality Policy stands out, a legal instrument necessary to guide technology
transfer relations, adapting the academic environment to the regulatory context. In this
way, the research sought to present a formal document with the objective of protecting
the data, information and sensitive knowledge generated by the University and the
confidential information agreed in RD&I partnership legal instruments. The research,
from the perspective of nature and approach, is classified as applied and qualitative,
and in relation to its objectives, it is classified as exploratory. Thus, bibliographic and
documental research were the technical procedures used in the study, to gather
information in books, scientific articles, legal norms and also on Internet sites on the
approach of this topic in Federal Education Institutions, in order to identify the process
and flow of procedures related to the treatment of secrecy and confidentiality of
information. The freedom to socialize knowledge was one of the most discussed
factors in the scope of research, since the IFES has as one of its principles the
universality of knowledge, so the norm could not harm academic publications. The
interaction between Ifes and public and private companies is also highlighted in the
research, in the relationships of partnerships aimed at research, development and
innovation activities. Therefore, the treatment of sensitive information, data and
examination from research needs to be treated with caution in the academic
environment. PSC accepted the confidentiality procedure in course completion work
committw, the confidentiality procedure for RD&I projects, the procedure for strategic
institutional partnerships and the confidentiality procedure for outsourced workers,
interns, monitors, scholarship holders and volunteers participating in RD&I Therefore,
this work, from the perspective of the theories found in the consulted bibliographies,

as well as in the studies carried out in the electronic portals of other Educational
Institutions, aimed to present an Institutional Policy of Secrecy and Confidentiality for
    Ufopa.

  • This proposed Santarém Innovation Law initiative 'borns' from the activities developed in the
Professional Master's Degree course in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for
Innovation (PROFNIT) at the Federal University of Oeste do Pará (UFOPA) as a return to the
production of knowledge and identifying bottlenecks and opportunities in ICTs, aiming at
their use by society and contributing to development and economic growth at the local level,
in order to improve the living conditions of the population and regional development. Thus,
the discussions lead to the proposed Law initiative that points to the Municipal Innovation
Policy as a legal framework, whose objective is to structure and provide sufficient skills to
raise awareness, disseminate and implement the innovative culture and sustainable
development in Santarém, by guiding the articulation and activities of the municipal
government with the Research and Development Institutions, the Business Sector and with the
various agents that make up the Innovation Ecosystem. To fulfill this objective, an applied
research was carried out on a documentary and bibliographic basis, where the Innovation
Policy of Salvador, Law no 9534 of 11 August 2020, Law of Innovation of Maceió, Law no
were identified as innovative sources. 6.902/2019 and the Innovation Law of Florianópolis,
Complementary Law No. 432, of May 7, 2012. It should be noted that, according to the
logical bases of the investigation, the method used was the deductive one, which is part of the
general analysis for the particular one to achieve the knowledge/desired proposal. Thus, it was
considered that the implementation of the proposed Municipal Innovation Law could be one
of the main instruments of support and encouragement to the productive sector, scientific
knowledge and innovative enterprises and sustainable development in Santarém.

  • The Technological Innovation Centers - NITs have the function of identifying opportunities and promoting activities to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship, essential actions to bring together the actors that make up the Triple Helix: University, Companies and Government. This research, applied in nature, aims to establish an institutional communication channel for a closer relationship between the Federal University of Western Pará - Ufopa and the Society. Thus, the use technological tool in the form of podcast is proposed. The research methodology involves a bibliographic base on the theme of innovation and the role of NITs in the dissemination of the culture of innovation, which will serve to consolidate action research in the creation and development of a media program and relate the case study to Ufopa. With the availability of Pilot Programs, we have already identified some results, which point to a certain assertiveness in the use of technology, and in another sense it allows for a better direction in the choice of the themes of podcast.

  • The study had an applied nature, for this, the research process was conducted according to a methodologically well-defined sequence of steps, according to systematic mapping. To validate the case study, the Wood Technology Laboratory of the Federal University of Oeste do Pará was used, due to the diversity of equipment available in the laboratory. Among the issues that drove the development of this work are the information contained in the Ufopa inventory that is not accurate, as there are goods registered in the system that are not physically found; and goods that exist but are not in the system. Situation that leads to errors in counting, rework and very slow, with this the duration of the inventory can reach up to 10 months for such consolidation of information. The objective was to present to the Institution a method for improving the asset management process, from the updating of the IFES Asset Management Manual, with its appropriate guidance instruments for each task performed now performed with the aid of forms and spreadsheets, thus such as the use of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to control these material goods. The results obtained will directly impact the University's planning, bringing greater efficiency of financial resources, the control will facilitate access to updated information, enabling greater administrative rationalization.

  • The establishment of Research Support Foundations (FAP) in Federal Higher Education
Institutions (IFES) occurred in the vast majority in the 1970s as an action by the academic
community to overcome the absence of instruments that would ensure IFES greater flexibility
and agility in the management of their activities, especially those focused on the processes of
interaction with society. With the advent of the Law on Innovation in Company, and the New
regulatory framework for Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) actions, institutions
are establishing their internal policies, identifying their potential, their competencies,
protecting research results, and disseminating their competence, their know-how. UFOPA
was created by Law No. 12,085, of November 5, 2009. It is the first federal institution of
higher education based in one of the most strategic points in the Amazon, in the municipality
of Santarém, the third largest city in Pará, worldwide known for its natural beauty with
emphasis on the meeting of the waters of the Tapajos and Amazon rivers. The UFOPA
Institutional Development Plan points out that the reduction of transfers from the Federal
Government to the IFES is a reality. It supports its statement citing data from Andifes.
Andifes points out that from 2014 to 2018, the real cut was R $ 2.2 billion, falling from R$
9.9 billion to R$ 7.4 billion. Given this scenario, IFES have been studying other ways of
maintaining its resources and not reducing quality, mainly of research and technological
innovation. The main proposals are aimed at strengthening ties with the support foundations,
the creation of integrated networks that foster and bring together research groups of
development agents and, finally, the incipient, but promising, heritage funds, and that
highlights the necessary relationship between UFOPA and FIAM (UFOPA, PDI - 2019 ~
2023). The partnership between UFOPA and FIAM aims to contribute to the quality of
teaching, as students who participate in research and extension projects, in addition to
learning how to produce new scientific knowledge, are faced with real problems in society; it
expands and updates the infrastructure of equipment, facilities and laboratories with the
resources that finance the projects; it provides the improvement and development of products
and processes of companies through the knowledge acquired, benefiting, and the injection of
resources in the Institution with the reimbursement of the use of goods and services from
UFOPA. The institutionalization of FIAM occurred in November / 2015, therefore relatively
recent in the sector, aiming the institutional development of the Federal University of Western
Pará in the management and execution of Projects that contribute positively to regional
growth in a balanced and agile way. The production of knowledge by UFOPA, and its
availability to various sectors can contribute to strengthen local initiatives, which even if
mediated by economic values from the markets, do not lose the dimension of the social values
related to decision making, reflecting in behavior change actions in relation to the quality of
the environment, leading to include these values in the production process, in the generation
of new products. Thus, all things considered, the necessary insertion of the Research Support
Foundations is observed as a facilitator of the process, and this is what is hoped for with
FIAM, its action as a partner of UFOPA, in contributing to the development of the Western
    Region of Para.

  • The sustainable future, according to the UN, makes reference to actions that guarantee the sustainability of productive systems in face of natural resources. The challenges highlighted here are the search for a balance between expanding production and food fraud. This study aims to provide an insight into the development of blockchain-based solutions applied to palm oil supply chains, based on an analysis of the documents covered in the Scopus databases and Questel Orbit software patents. As a final product, there is the organization and visualization of the information retrieved from the technical documents of patents and scientific publications in a Technological Roadmap, where companies that stand out for defining strategies for commercial application in patent protection and scientific research were observed, even in the majority the protection classification is of technology management methods. Despite the wide spectrum of application of blockchains in the world, the study demonstrates that there is still a lack of solutions that actually implement a national, Amazonian context since actions for applications were found only in the Long Term stage.

  • Innovation for the educational sector is latent, not only from the
pandemic that spread in the year 2020, but for a long time, as there was already a
question about how to make teaching more coherent with reality and therefore more
attractive to children, youth and adults. In order to contribute to the increase in the
quality of education offered in schools, whether public or private, this guide was
conceived, which has at its central axis the inclusion of maker spaces in educational
environments as a tool to promote innovation in favor of education.

To understand the powerful tool that is proposed here, it is necessary to
understand the context of the maker methodology, which is based on a worldwide
movement, called the maker movement, which has been gaining strength in the
educational environment, starting from renowned theoretical and pedagogical pillars
that bring valuable contributions to its application and development base. The concept
starts from the idea that the practice must go hand in hand with the theory that is
developed in the classroom. By implementing suitable environments for the maker
practice in schools, we have an innovative pedagogical tool for the teaching-learning
process, where it is possible to apply concepts of creativity, entrepreneurship and
innovation through active teaching methodologies (maker) in everyday life. school day,
facilitating the development of interdisciplinary projects with students, who will be
protagonists of their knowledge. Understanding that new practices require new
environments and new teaching methods, since it is a fact that old classrooms no longer
meet the needs of new methodologies or students of this new generation.(TEIXEIRA et
    al., 2018)

The integration of theory, passed on most of the time by lectures, with
the maker practice, causes significant changes both in the way of transferring
knowledge and of receiving it, placing the student as a transforming agent of their
reality, and the teacher as the facilitator. or mediator of these changes, thus providing
the innovation that is represented here by the fact that there is a reflection based on
    practical activities. (Antunes, 2019).

The idea is defended that adequate and creative spaces available to the
school community are innovative tools with a powerful active pedagogical impact,

bringing more quality and attractiveness to the school environment that suffers from the
dropout of unmotivated students due to the traditional teaching format. Therefore, it is
suggested, through this Guide, a basic model of School Maker Space that is financially
viable and replicable to the most varied types of educational institutions.

  • The scope of this work was premised on a diagnosis through the Case Study that resulted in a
media program on professional training, for Academics and Entrepreneurs, with a focus on
Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation. The fact of identifying the main
factors and limiting problems for thematic lack of knowledge and the consequences of this for
a promising career culminated in the development of more assertive conditions for a better
definition of content and generated media. The identification of the bottleneck occurred
through scientific, descriptive and exploratory research, using bibliographical research, data
collection, case study and observation. As for the approach, the quali-quantitative method was
used, based on the inductive method. As a result of the research, the contextualization of
Intellectual Property in the university and business environment was raised, aiming to
understand the gap between scientific knowledge and technical knowledge and the impacts on
the economy, society and personal development. The survey was applied to the participants of
the professional workshop on Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation.
Data collection was carried out through electronic forms, in online mode, due to the
restrictions imposed by the pandemic moment caused by Covid-19. At the end of the studies,
the result was reached that the absence of training courses adapted or directed to different
audiences is the main contributory factor to the low rate of patents for Brazilian creations.

  • Collective marks or distinctive signs can be understood as the symbolic representation of a group, which produces something or a process differently from the others. It has great potential as an inducer for local development, but in the Amazonian regional context there are still few initiatives that use the collective brand as a strategy for marketing regional products, be they forestry or handicrafts in general. In this context, the present work aims to analyze the impacts of obtaining the Collective Brand Aíra - Cuias de Santarém, on the economic and social development of the communities that integrate the region of Aritapera, in the municipality of Santarém, western Pará, where artisanal production of gourds is recognized for its traditionality. To this end, a bibliographic, documentary and quantitative survey was carried out, data collection was carried out at the site and in the city of Santarém, specifically at the Cristo Rei Handicraft Center and at the Municipal Market, in addition to informal interviews and remote application of questionnaires. Through the results, it is possible to understand the know-how of the socio-cultural practices developed by the group of artisans involved in the process of production of the gourds, as well as the whole process until the brand was obtained, and what are the social and economic reflexes in the place. Thus, it was possible to observe that the Aíra brand has contributed to the rise of local development as it has given greater visibility to the communities of Aritapera, increasing the production and commercialization of gourds, in addition to the valorization of knowledge, handicrafts and cultural goods in this region.
