TERMINOLOGIA DA FESTA ÇAIRÉ EM LÍNGUA BRASILEIRA DE SINAIS - LIBRAS
Terminology; Çairé Festival; Libras
The research is developed in the line of Languages, Cultures and Identities in
Amazon and presents concerns about the linguistic phenomena that
occur in Sign Languages, mainly when referring to the lexicon and
terminology. In the Brazilian Sign Language – Libras, research that addresses
these fields are still unusual, especially when they are
scope regional terminology. This research is pioneering in the region and focuses
main, analyze the term signs used in translations/interpretations in
pounds of the Çairé party in 2023, a popular culture festival that brings together
religious and profane elements introduced into the Amazon during the missions
evangelizing efforts by Jesuit priests at the end of the 17th century. The work is

methodological, a bibliographical survey will be carried out and subsequently,

preparation of terminological sheets in Libras and finally, the registration of term signs in Libras for the Çairé Festival.
