HELLO WORLD, HELP ME BE A PEOPLE: SOCIAL INTERACTIONS IN SOCCER FOR DEVELOPING SOCIAL SKILLS
Human development. Education. Soccer. Social skills.
Interpersonal relationships are part of all life contexts of society and building / maintaining healthy social relationships is beneficial for human development. Thus, social skills are behaviors that favor such relationships and act as protective factors for such development, since they are essential for people's quality of life and well-being. In this perspective, it is understood that sport, in the case of this study, football, is part of the lives of thousands of teenagers, since the dream of becoming a professional soccer player is present in many children and young people around the world, As in Brazil, this is also the reality experienced in Santarém-Pará. That said, it is perfectly possible to ponder that the football context plays important interferences in the human development of such aspirants. In this sense, the aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between social interactions in the football context and the implications for the development of social skills in young players. This is a field research of qualitative approach with teenagers from 15 to 17 years old who work in a soccer club in Santarém-Pará. The methodological instruments selected for this study will be: sociodemographic questionnaire, interview and observation script, and the Social Skills Inventory for Adolescents (IHSA-DEL PRETTE, 2009). The analysis of the interviews will be performed using the technique of Collective Subject Discourse (LEFÈVRE; LEFÈVRE, 2003). It is emphasized the need to carry out studies that are concerned with the course of human development of young soccer players in the grassroots categories, because understanding how the soccer context has influenced the learning of social behavior in these young people can favor the constitution of scientific constructs. which will contribute to the elaboration of intervention programs or public policies that are concerned with promoting spaces that are conducive to educational practices directed to the development of social skills, which will be useful not only for the football, sports, but for all other contexts (family , school, leisure) that individuals are likely to act.
