This research aims to analyze the educational trajectory of deaf undergraduate students at universities in Santarém - Pará through their testimonies. This proposal emerged from my experience as a deaf person in schools and in higher education, in which I realized that despite the efforts made, there is still a long way to go in terms of providing education for the deaf, in order to meet their linguistic specificities, mainly due to the general perspective of the need to expand bilingual methodologies in order to strengthen and establish deaf education in the university environment. Thus, the research problem is: How did the educational trajectory of deaf education occur in undergraduate courses at universities in Santarém- Pará? Thus, the educational trajectory of deaf undergraduate students at universities in Santarém-Pará can be analyzed through their testimonies. To this end, the specific objectives are: To identify, based on the reports of deaf people, the pedagogical practices developed for their inclusion process in higher education; to point out the advances reported by students regarding the inclusion of deaf people in universities; to highlight the main difficulties presented by deaf students in their schooling process in higher education. This is a qualitative study, in which interviews with a semi-structured script will be carried out with eight deaf people who have completed their undergraduate studies, in order to understand their schooling process. This research will be of great relevance, as it will highlight the work developed in universities in the interior of the Amazon, in terms of practices with deaf students, as well as bringing important reflections for thinking about new paths for deaf education.
