RESUMO:

This research, in progress, approaches the educational policies that lead to Integral Education based on the analysis of the actions implemented by the Municipal Secretary of Belterra / PA, in the period from 2012 to 2018. The temporal cut is due to the period in which the first actions of integral education in the municipality. The theoretical contribution is based on the conceptions of integral and full-time education of authors such as Arroyo (2012), Cavalieri (2007), Coelho (2009), Gadotti (2009), Gomes (2017), Lima and Almada (2013) as well as reflections on the implementation of Goch, Colares and Gomes' (2017), Perez (2010), Santos (2016), Secchi (2012) and current legislation. The Methodology used is based on bibliographical and documentary research, having as data collection instrument the documentary analysis. Preliminary results indicate that the Municipal Department of Education and Sport (SEMED) of the municipality of Belterra did not develop local actions of integral education but implemented educational policies of the federal government that promote its promotion through the More Education Program (PME) in 2012 and from the year 2016 the New More Education Program (PNME). It was also realized the importance of schools to set up a school council, transforming it into an Executing Unit (UEx), in order to receive the resources transferred by the Direct Money in School Program (PDDE) for these integral education inducing programs, and that the maintenance of resources for schools is intrinsically linked to compliance with the annual accounts. Another factor that must be taken into account is the delay in the transfer of funds to the execution of SMEs and PNME, which ends up causing a halt, even if temporary, of activities whose main objective is to improve the learning of students with low academic performance and with social vulnerability, through the expansion of both the school curriculum and the length of time spent in school.
