At the center of the discussions that permeate the school context, the policy of extension of the journey has redefined several pedagogical practices and
instituting social changes of restructuring in the role of the school and its professionals.
In this context the study investigates the role of school professionals in articulation with the understanding and perception of the policy that promotes the extension of the public school day.
In this context, and focusing on the current research, we come to question:
how do the professionals of the school understand and re-signify their work in the implementation of the policy of full-time integral education?
