SUMMARY:

The richest regions of biodiversity on the planet are the tropical regions, the Amazon region because it is a tropical forest with dimensions of approximately eight million km² has the largest biodiversity of the planet earth. The Brazilian Amazon, in addition to being rich in biodiversity of species, it is also known culturally mainly because of the diversity of traditional peoples, such as indigenous communities/villages. These communities are seen as a reference of sustainability because of their cultural aspects and the knowledge about sustainable use acquired during generations. Currently, the
advance of modern man's activities under the Amazon rainforest has been monitored, including in areas of traditional peoples, thus configuring it as one of the main threats to Amazonian biodiversity. In western Paraense, the demarcation of the Munduruku Indigenous Land of the Santareno Plateau is being demarcated in the west of Pará, which covers four villages: Açaizal, Ipaupixuna, São Francisco da Cavada and Amparador. The Munduruku people of the Santareno Plateau have their experience based on the teachings passed on by their ancestors and which reflects in the daily life of the village through hunting, fishing, gathering, agriculture, teçume, making paneiros and abanos, jamaxins, oars, spoons and small objects of wood. In addition, there is the use of elements of nature in the manufacture and maintenance of their villas and domestic facilities, mainly wood and straw. In view of the above, the present dissertation plan aims to present the methodology to be used to achieve the objective proposed by the work plan, which has as general objective to map areas with species with potential for bioeconomy in the village Ipaupixuna, Munduruku Indigenous Land of the Santareno Plateau.
