SUMMARY:

The present work aims to understand the projects for the future that are under debate in the process of emancipation of Lago Grande do Curuai, with a view to interpreting, in this path, how the multiple social actors use the discourse in this process. The methodology used will involve interviews with key actors linked to the discussions of the emancipation process of the Lago Grande Agroextractive Settlement Project, such as members of the Federation of Agroextractive Associations and Communities of Gleba Lago Grande, community leaders and residents of the various communities that are part of the referred territory, who have knowledge on the subject and can contribute to the elucidation of the respective points of view and discourses on the emancipation project of this region. Qualitative, field and documentary research will be used. This study can contribute to the local society by unraveling discourses related to emancipation. From a scientific point of view, the relevance of the study focuses on the possibility of understanding the intersubjective relationships experienced in Lago Grande, an aspect still little studied in the existing bibliography on this region. Furthermore, the data resulting from the research process may constitute a database for future studies involving similar issues.
