RESUMO:

Low-intensity laser photobiomodulation is one of the most widely used therapeutic resources in physiotherapy, which promotes the acceleration of the tissue healing process. Another alternative therapeutic resource for use in wound care is copaiba oleoresin, a natural resource described as anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antibacterial, analgesic and healing. This study aims to evaluate the effects generated by the combination of photobiomodulation (660nm) and copaiba oil (Copaifera reticulata Ducke) in 10% ointment on wound healing in rats. In this research will be used 60 Wistar rats, they will be drawn and distributed in four groups with 15 animals in each. So named: GC Group (Control Group, untreated); GF Group (Photobiomodulation Group, photobiomodulator treatment, 660nm, at 4J / cm², for 16 seconds, in continuous mode, punctually); Group GC (Copaíba Group, treatment with 10% Copaifera reticulata ointment) and Group GFC (Fotobiomodulation and Copaíba Group, treatment with the combination of photobiomodulator and C. reticulata ointment). After the injury occurs, on the back of animals, with 8mm punch, the groups will be randomly separated into three subgroups, with five animals in each, following the observation period (3, 7 and 14 days). Subsequently, macroscopic and microscopic analyzes will be performed, as well as Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests, for statistical analysis. Preliminary results have so far found in the chemical composition of oleoresin a higher concentration of β-caryophyllene (24,48%), β-bisabolene (23,49%) and methyl ester of cauranoic acid (9,93%). The components β-caryophyllene and β-bisabolene, prove to be important agents in antiinflammatory activity, besides having bactericidal and analgesic action. Studies on the species of the Copaifera genus need to be conducted in order to know more about their components and forms of action. It is hoped that the combination of the therapies proposed in this study will further accelerate the wound healing process when compared in isolation.
