RESUMO:

Anxiety is normal behavior in discomfort situations as a defense mechanism and the ability to deal with new situations. Anxiety is now recognized as a pathology when it is disproportionate to the stimulus or causes poor performance. In recent works with Acai (Euterpe olerace), they show an effect on anxiety. Associated with this, acai native to the Amazon region is already used as a source for incorporation in fish feed formulations, especially tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum). The general objective of this study is to analyze the possible anxiolytic effects of acai (Euterpe oleracea) and acai-fed tambaqui meat (Colossoma macropomum) in rats submitted to the elevated cross maze. As specific objectives, to study the effect of tambaqui meat (Colossoma macropomum) fed with acai (Euterpe oleracea) feed included in the diet of Wistar rats, evaluating its effects in high cross maze, as well as to evaluate the effects of acai (Euterpe oleracea). ) included in the diet of Wistar rats submitted to the elevated cross maze anxiety model. To study the effect of commercially fed tambaqui meat included in the Wistar rot diet, evaluating its effects in high cross maze. Finally, to evaluate the effects of commercial ration in rats submitted to the elevated maze anxiety model. This is an experimental research on rats that will be held at the Federal University of Western Pará-UFOPA, Campus Oriximiná. The animals will be divided into 4 (four) groups, with 10 (ten) animals each, totaling 40 animals all male, for a period of 30 (thirty) days. At the end of the experiment all animals will be tested in the High Cross Maze -LCE with single exposure. The exposure will be recorded on video for 5 minutes and then analyzed by EthoVision XT® (Noldus®) software for the automatic motion tracking study. This study is expected to prove the anxiolytic effect of tambaqui meat (Colossoma macropomum) fed on acai ((Euterpe oleracea)).
