SUMMARY:

Zinc is an essential micronutrient for humans e plants, in humans it is a component of approximately 300 proteins, with the recommended intake of 15 m/day of zinc for the full functioning of physiological processes. It is estimated that one third of the population suffers from problems related to the deficiency of this nutrient. In plants, Zn acts on the pathways of phytohormones e carbohydrates. One way to provide Zn to a population in an efficient e sustainable way is through the agronomic biofortification of coriander e chives. Both are widely used condiments in Brazil e are easy to grow. The objective of this work is to verify zinc absorption in foliar e soil treatments. wo tests were used for each species, one applying Zn, in soil fertilization, using doses 0.0; 6.25; 12.5; 25; 50; 100; 200 e 400 kg ha-1, as for the foliar fertilization, doses 0.0; 0.25; 0.5; 1; 1.5; 3; 6 e 12 kg ha-1. They will be measured as variables: shoot fresh mass, branch height, stem diameter, number of tillers, root dry mass, shoot dry mass, reducing sugar, total soluble sugars, ammonium, proline, amino acid, macronutrients, micronutrients, chlorophylls, carotenoids, flavonoids, phenols. The data will be tested for normality e homogeneity e the difference between the means will be checked using an (ANOVA) e Tukey test at a 5% significance level.
