Ethnoveterinary is the science responsible for the study of beliefs, practices, methods, techniques and knowledge used by people to treat diseases in animals. This practice has been passed down from generation to generation through oral tradition, the current context, marked by rapid cultural changes, has led to the loss of much of this information, requiring scientific documentation of this knowledge. In this context, this work aims to carry out a survey of this popular knowledge, in urban and rural Peri areas of the municipality of Oriximiná. So far, 14 people have been interviewed using semi-structured questionnaires, addressing socioeconomic issues and knowledge related to the use of natural products to treat animal diseases. The data obtained were analyzed using two quantitative ethnobotanical methods: consensus factor of the informant (ICF) and use value (UV). Preliminary results show the report of 41 species of plants and also some products of animal origin, used in the treatment of diseases in animals, in relation to (ICF) the categories Parasitosis, Snake bite and Respiratory disorders presented the highest value (ICF = 0.5) and the categories Dermatological and genitourinary disorders the lowest value (ICF = 0), copaiba (Copaifera spp)  and fedegoso had the highest use value (VU = 0.43), followed by white pawn (Jatropha curcas) (VU = 0.36), Batatão, Urucum, Cat's claw (VU = 0.28), Açaí (Euterpe oleracea), Jenipapo, Graviola (Annona muricata) (VU = 0.21), Chestnut tree (Bertholletia excelsa), Jurubeba, Jatobá, Papaya (Carica papaya), Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus), Corn (Zea mays), Manaiara (Campsiandra laurifolia) and Quinarana (VU = 0.14) and all other species had the same value (VU = 0.07).
