RESUMO:

The research addresses the insertion of the use of Digital Technologies (TD) articulated to the assumptions of Mathematical Modeling (MM) in teaching. It has as a vector principle the pedagogical mobilization of knowledge on the part of the teacher, in relation to teaching mechanisms, possible to be operationalized in the classroom. It aims to investigate possible relationships between MM and TD in school education, to subsidize teaching processes in the 5th year of elementary school. The specific objectives are related to the development of means for the use of TD with mathematics for school activities, via MM and technology-based teaching strategies. The guiding question establishes the following parameter of inquiry: "How to relate the MM with the TD, in view of the teaching of mathematical concepts?". In order to answer and reach the objectives, the methodology was based on a systematic study of theoretical references such as Bassanezi (2011), Biembengut and Hein (2016), Valente (1998), Borba, Silva and Gadanidis (2016), Mazzoti (1998) ) and others. A survey of literature related to the subject, aggregating the researches of Menezes (2016), Schütz (2015), Furtado (2014), Mastrela (2014), Borssoi (2013), Ferreira (2013), Diniz . In addition to tools and auxiliary techniques for collecting additional information on the formation of focus groups, participant observation and interviews. This research is based on the organization and dimensioning of teaching experiments, in which the activities were based on a configuration of educational scenarios and were directed to the production of thematic models with two themes: I - Mathematics and civil construction (construction of plants lows and models) and II - Mathematics and art (Construction of artistic elements), from TD available in the school as: geogebra, phet colorado, kahoot, tuxmath and elements of MM in the teaching, through the application of an intervention project for 36 5th graders at a municipal school in the city of Santarém - PA. These digital resources aided the teaching of mathematics by designing possibilities for teaching mathematical concepts through a line of educational research (STEFFE & THOMPSON, 2000). The initial results project considerations on: dialogical referrals provided by the teacher, when initiating the activities development, provides an initial interest factor on the proposed and planned situations. From the technological point of view, there was a significant degree of interest when students made the first manipulations and development of thematic project I. At each stage of these activities, mathematics appeared and systematized in an articulated way with other subjects or knowledge, being possible to develop an interdisciplinary work, characterizing elements of discussion to think about validating the implementation of new methodologies for the teaching of mathematics, starting from the relations between the MM and the TD, aiming the learning of concepts and mathematical representations.
