This research aimed to analyze the process of implementing the Mais Educação Program as an inductive policy for a full-time school in the Municipality of Itaituba, verifying how school management (Principals, Coordinators of the Mais Educação Program, teachers, educational technicians and teachers ) participated in this project. Theoretically this study was based on Dialectical Historical Materialism, which deals with the ontology of the real, seeking to understand the concrete reality. Research is of fundamental importance because in addition to contributing to the already existing framework, the results may prompt a dialogue within schools, in order to strengthen the viability of implementing full-time schools, as a possibility for improving the quality of teaching. and learning. In order to achieve the objective proposed here, a bibliographic, field and documentary research was carried out in two schools in the municipality of Itaituba, where the Mais Educação Program was carried out, from 2009 to 2015, with the subjects involved, seeking to better understand historical process of implementation of the Program and, thus, contribute to discussions on integral education as a possibility for quality education in Elementary Education in the municipality of Itaituba. The implementation of the Mais Educação Program in the municipality of Itaituba was challenging and marked by the poor adherence to the Program by the subjects involved, in addition to their apparent lack of knowledge about the functionality of the project in the school context.
