RESUMO:

This study investigates how territorial changes occurred in the municipality of
Altamira in Pará from the Belo Monte Dam Construction and the formation of new
neighborhoods intended for those impacted by the dam and the challenges of appropriating a
School Education of continuity and discontinuity included in this new context taking into account
taking into account the process of experiences of the Schools and of the subjects that were relocated from the
City. To this end, we propose to: understand the processes of school education in the Territory
Urban of the flooded population before Belo Monte (UHE); Identify impacts
socio-educational factors among the inhabitants of the wetlands while in the condition of migrants
resettled at Ruc Jatobá and analyze the theoretical implications of “continuities” and
“Discontinuities” of School Education for high school students at EEEM Profº.
Odila de Souza in the Municipality of Altamira - Pará, located at Rua Mogno, S / N in Bairro
Jatobá one of the six Urban Resettlements built from the Belo Dam
Mount. The study has a qualitative approach, in which we resort to literature review,
documentary and empirical research, of the collaborative action-research type in the idea of work
with a study of the Theory of Social Representations centered on the discourse of
subjects. The data collection instruments were: semi-open interviews and
semi-structured, researcher's field diary and photographic records. Participated in the
researches students, teachers and residents of Ruc Jatobá, high school classes and
Modular Eja who study at night who previously lived in Igarapé Ambé. The
The results of the study showed, in principle, that the teaching-learning conditions
offered to residents present a discontinuity in the real process that the bases
educational activities are directed, including in the interviewees' statements we perceive the
non-existent continuity and present discontinuity. Given the above, in a preliminary phase,
we conclude that the experience can be extended by checking how the subjects surveyed
that they present from their reports and stories that the discontinuity process occurs
in the education that is offered to these resettled flooded people at the Odila State School
Souza at Ruc Jatobá, still collecting data ...
