RESUMO:

This study on graduates of stricto sensu graduate studies in education presents subsidies for the elaboration of a proposal for a model for monitoring graduates in order to meet indicators of institutional evaluation of CAPES. The research is a case study with graduates from 2015-2019 with the graduate program in education in the Amazon (PPGE) of the Federal University of Western Pará (UFOPA). The methodological development is related to a mapping of the information related to his personal, academic and professional profile, highlighting how much this stricto sensu training contributed to his ethical and humanistic development to act in the Amazonian contexts. To this end, we sought the analysis of existing documents in ppge/ufopa, among them the online questionnaire sent by e-mail to the 129 graduates of the course by the Program Secretariat, under the responsibility of the Ppge/UFOPA Graduate Monitoring Committee, from March to August 2020, containing open and closed questions, as well as alternative questions of closed answers, according to the Likert scale, in addition to data contained in the Lattes and Sucupira Platform. Of these 129 e-mails sent, 89 returns were obtained, starting to make up the study sample, adopting bardin content analysis (2011). The construction of the theoretical base was based on Simon and Pacheco (2017), Mota (2014), Dias (2016), Assis Junior (2017), Coelho e Silva (2017), Maccari and Teixeira (2014), Teixeira (2015), Nobre (2018), Machado (2001), among others, dialoguing with the data of the PPGE/UFOPA questionnaire (2020), the reports of the EDUCATION area of CAPES, the information of the PPGE sites recommended in the country, and with the legal normative framework of the study. The partial results already reveal that there were significant impacts of this training on the personal and professional life of these graduates, which 63% are between 30 and 49 years of age; 61% are women; 53% completed graduation, and 75% lato sensu, in the Humansciences; Of the 89 respondents to the questionnaire, 41% were scholarship holders during the master's degree and 8% are already in the doctorate. The academic and research career was the main reason for joining ppge (77%) and 81% state that the knowledge acquired was very satisfactory for professional training, I have the "Human Training", integral, as a highlight. 85% announce that there have been positive impacts for the Amazonian educational environment, both in the sense of academic production and in the qualification of its graduates. It is expected that this study will contribute to an important aspect of the evaluation of Stricto Sensu graduate courses in education, which is to promote up-to-date information from its graduates in order to contribute to the quality of this continuing education in Brazil and its impact on local, regional and national contexts.
