Planning of educational actions in a pre-school class in the municipality of Santarém-Pa

This study is developed in Early Childhood Education and its central theme is the planning of activities in the context of pre-school. Planning in early childhood education is challenging and has generated hesitation on the part of educators today; it is essential to plan for the work of the teacher to materialize and achieve the intended objectives. In the planning of the pedagogical practice, the objectives, the content of the activity, the methodological instruments that should direct the actions of the educational process, resource and evaluation are mentioned. Thus, this research sought to understand how is the planning of the educational actions of a class of preschool in a municipal institution of early childhood education in the municipality of Santarém, Pará. Specifically, to investigate which conceptions guide the work of the teacher when constituting her planning ; verify what elements the educator considers when planning (legislation, training, institution or SEMED guidance, the practice of a colleague); to analyze how the planning objectives prepared by the teacher and the developed practice are articulated. The analyzes were based on Vigotski's historical cultural theory. The investigation was carried out with the participation of a preschool teacher working in a public institution with 4-year-old children. Observations were made during an exploratory period, a period that had been interrupted due to the Covid pandemic19, where the institution, in order to prevent mass contamination and following WHO and municipal government recommendations, suspended activities. Subsequently, there were several conversations directed to the teacher remotely and six in person as an interview, with predefined questions to be discussed. In the interviews, some elements witnessed in the observations were taken up and it was also verified what kind of guidance / documentation the teacher is based on when preparing her planning. The data obtained were organized into axes of analysis, considering the country's legislation on early childhood education, the concepts that the historical cultural theory presents on the education of the child, the role of the teacher and the other overlapping about this process, considering since its inception. training as an individual until their professional performance, their perceptions especially when planning their work activities
