RESUMO:

This paper aims to show that the methodological proposal of Integrated Teaching Activities (ADIs), integration between reading, writing, speaking and linguistic reflection practices, based on Bakhtin's and Literacy theories, can contribute effectively and significantly to teaching. Portuguese Language in Youth and Adult Education (EJA), developing students' discursive-responsive language skills. To this end, I propose an intervention project for students in the 4th stage of Youth and Adult Education, Elementary School, entitled “The social role of street lighting for the students of Padre José de Anchieta school and the residents of Vitória Régia I and II neighborhoods and Jacarezinho ”, which is totally focused on social practice. The chosen modality is justified because it needs different methodologies from the traditional teaching of Portuguese language and that have political commitment to the learning of students throughout their lives, given that the teaching of Portuguese language has been failing in its methodological proposals regarding the reading, writing, speaking and linguistic reflection in basic education, especially in EJA. The theoretical bases that support this work are Volóchinov (2017), Bakhtin (2011), Kleiman (2002, 2008, 2016) MARCUSCHI (2008), Rojo (2002) and Moura (2016, 2017, 2018). The partial corpus under analysis consists of oral and written texts of students from the 4th stage of elementary school. For the description of the activities, I use different discourse genres: conversation wheel, video, scientific article, seminar, electric bill (or electric bill), interview, oral and written report, Municipal Law No. 3.136 / 2017 (which It deals with the Public Lighting Contribution - CIP of Itaituba-Pará), an argumentative letter of complaint and the undersigned. The objectives of the intervention project are to make students develop their argumentative-discursive-responsive skills; to awaken their critical-reflexive capacity to perceive themselves as active subjects of rights and duties in society; argue not to silence.
