SUMMARY:

This work aims to develop a pedagogical approach to literary reading based on audiovisual resources in which it is possible to operate with aesthetic resources of visuality, sound and literacy and will be applied to a 6th grade class, a year that has great importance in life. school for children, as it represents a change in the teaching model, in the relationship with teachers, the subjects become independent. To this end, I will carry out studies on aesthetics, aesthetic training, reading literature, the school space as a place to provide enjoyment, the aesthetic components in audiovisual production. I will use the following authors as a theoretical foundation: Santos (2016), Britto (2015), Candido (2011), Assumpção and Duarte (2016), Cairus (2018), Pinheiro (2011-org.) among others. Bibliographical research will support the selection, analysis of texts, creation of videos and explanations/teaching guidelines, a report will be made explaining how each step was taken: why the choices of books? What were the criteria used? How the video was produced, what teaching guidelines were developed, what adjustments were made. We hope that this work may result in some changes in how children receive reading: greater attention when reading; concentration on audiovisual exposure; more curiosities and questions in Portuguese language classes.
