RESUMO:

The present work deals with the analysis of the factors that influence the victimization for the crime of theft of passersby in the city of Santarém, state of Pará, from 2018 to 2020, under the focus of the victimology. The research initially presents the importance of the study of the victim to understand the crime of theft of passersby and what is the relevance of this crime to cognition of such factors. Then the victim is classified in the light of the economic theories of crime and the opportunities and lifestyle, when we talk about the potential victim, the behavior of the victim in relation to the criminal and what is the role of the victim in the genesis of crime. robbery, especially in what situations it is most likely to suffer victimization.
