PUBLIC POLICIES FOR RURAL EDUCATION: Pedagogy of Alternation as a practical perspective for sustainable agricultural development in the Amazon.

The present work proposes to research on the public policies of rural education in the Amazon and its relation with the sustainable development, inherent to the agricultural activities developed by the teaching practice of the Pedagogy of the Alternation applied in the Rural Family House (CFR) of the region of Lago Grande, belonging to the Lower Amazon Region. To this end, a bibliographic and field research will be carried out, with the application of interviews to the pedagogical coordination of the (CFR) of Lago Grande and the Regional Association of Family Houses of the State of Pará (ARCAFAR), technical teachers and students in phase completion of the agroecology course, observing in a participatory way the project of experiencing the meliponiculture activity in “Tempo Comunidade”, following the challenges and transformations that rural education promotes with regard to agricultural cultivation, with emphasis on sustainable practices in respect to the knowledge of the man of the field.
