RESUMO:

The participation of women in the context of traditional communities in Amazonian conservation units has been highlighted by their importance and protagonism in the protection of nature, as well as in the sustainable use of natural resources. In this sense, social organization in the form of women's groups presents itself as a way of reducing the situation of oppression and inequalities of society that still preserves patriarchal characteristics. From these groups, women see new perspectives, use space as a tool in the face of social invisibility, and strengthen ties with the similarities of aspirations and hopes. The research aims to promote a reflection on the work of the Art Women Group in FLONA through the analysis of the Bourdieusian trajectory in light of the basic concepts of habitus, field and capital. However, the general objective of the project will be to analyze the historical trajectory, and production of the Women of Piquiatuba Group, in the Tapajós National Forest, from 2008 to 2019. Semi-structured interviews will be carried out and the tools of Rural Participatory Diagnosis: Timeline, the Strengths, Opportunities, Weaknesses and Threats matrix will be used to confirm or refute the hypothesis that the female invisibility trajectory and the difficulties in food production and generation of income families of women from Piquiatuba (FLONA of Tapajós, Brazil) led to the creation of the Artisans Group.
