FROM LAW TO EDUCATION TO THE NEGATION OF LAW: THE CHALLENGES OF YOUNG RIBEIRES TO ENTER HIGHER EDUCATION

This dissertation deals with the right to education, and the denial of this right to riverine students who, after attempts to enter higher education, are unsuccessful for entry into public higher education institutions. The present research has as its general objective to analyze the challenges of young riverside people to access the right to education in public higher education; As specific objectives will raise in the literature and Brazilian legislation how the right to education and the democratization of teaching is approached; Verify the high school model developed in the community school, its offer, organization and its results; and identify the perception of high school graduates about their school career and the challenges faced in entering public higher education. The methodological proposal of the research took place in three phases, in the first phase a bibliographic research was conducted to survey the literature review. In the second phase there was a survey of relevant documents and legislation that gave subsidy to the proposal addressed. In the third phase the field research will be carried out to collect data to be analyzed from the perspective of the qualitative approach.
