This research aims to investigate the contribution of music therapy to promoting the well-being of adolescents in a institucional shelter context in Santarém - Pá, using the insertion method ecological. As a data collection instrument, there is the music therapy record that aims to obtain personal, anamnesis and musical data that will help establish which is the best music therapy method to be used in the sessions, will be applied the IMTAP and the group music therapy protocol to analyze the contribution of music therapy, positive and negative affect scale, subjective well-being aims to assess the participant's level of well-being and the interview semi-structured structure that aims to identify the participants' perceptions about the adaptation process to the Shelter and about the sessions of music therapy. The data collected from the music therapy record will be for organize the sessions, the subjective well-being scale, the global scale of life satisfaction and multidimensional life satisfaction scale that aims to analyze the level of well-being of adolescents, these scales will be analyzed using the SPSS software resource, the conversation wheel data will be analyzed through the Discourse of the Collective Subject (DSC) that has the principles based on social representation theory. The expected result in research is that music therapy collaborates as a therapeutic process for the research participants.
