SUMMARY:

This study presents a literature review and a research project, as well as a bibliometric article written in a scientific article format. Fishing is an ancient human subsistence activity considered of great importance throughout the world. There are numerous definitions for artisanal fishing, as predominantly manufacturing production. In the Amazon what predominates is artisanal fishing. This study is justified by the need to analyze the working health conditions of fishermen linked to SINPESCA in the District of Santa Maria do Uruará. Thus, there is a concern directed to fishermen linked to the Union. The general objective of this work is to analyze the conditions of access to occupational health of artisanal fishermen in the District of Santa Maria do Uruará, Municipality of Prainha, in the State of Pará. The study population of this research will consist of artisanal fishermen registered in the Santa Maria fishermen's union, the inclusion criteria will be men and women aged 18 to 70 years and exclusion criteria are fishermen who do not have a link with the union. Data collection will take place from July 2022 to August 2022. Data collection will be carried out with 192 artisanal fishermen, in the fishermen's union of the municipality of Santa Maria, at the time of the monthly meeting of these individuals. The sample calculation was carried out based on the population of fishermen registered in the fishermen's union of Santa Maria do Uruará, Pará, of approximately 402 individuals, and 192 questionnaires will be answered, with a sampling error of 4.9%. The data will be tabulated and analyzed in percentage and using an electronic spreadsheet in the Microsoft Excel®2014 program. The result of the research will contribute to the advancement of the theme in the academic environment through the knowledge acquired with the theme little explored in research, adding to the scientific environment, bringing results to make the theme better known. In addition, most researches bring up issues that will be relevant to the academy. Academic research has enormous value for society, it is through them that we find cures, develop technologies and help the country's growth. For fishermen, the work will bring results in terms of quality of life, and their health perspective. It will show the reality and risk experienced in their daily lives.
