WAYS OF EATING AND LIVING: A STUDY FROM THE FAMILIES OF THE URBAN OCCUPATION VISTA ALEGRE DO JUÁ, SANTARÉM, PARÁ

The Organic Law on Food and Nutritional Security (Losan) defines security food as access for anyone and everyone 

to continuous nutrition and quality. However, Food and Nutritional Insecurity is a sad reality of many Brazilian 

families, a scenario also present in areas of spontaneous occupation. Therefore, this research proposal aims to 

objective to analyze the level of food (In)security and the associated causes, families from the urban occupation 

Vista Alegre do Juá in Santarém, Pará. The methodology proposal for this study is of a qualitative and quantitative 

nature, with the use of bibliographical, documentary and field research to understand the reality of families, in 

which semi-structured interviews will be carried out. The data will be analyzed using simple descriptive statistics 

and content analysis. Wait- ensure that the results obtained demonstrate information about the basis of nutrition 

of the families that will be studied and whether social indicators have influence on their nutritional quality.
