Wealth management can be considered one of the main strategies for Institutions to become even more efficient within the current scenario. Faced with a series of technologies launched in the world because of the new industrial revolution, the 4.0 revolution, it is clear the importance of an improvement strategy for the implementation of new technological tools to assist in patrimonial control. The present work proposes a method of managing material goods in teaching and research institutions. This method includes updating the IFES Asset Management Manual with its appropriate guidance instruments for each task performed, now performed with the aid of forms and spreadsheets, as well as the use of radio frequency identification technology (RFID) to control these assets. materials. To validate this proposal, part of the assets of the Federal University of Western Pará will be used as a case study scenario. The results obtained will directly impact the institution's planning, bringing greater efficiency of financial resources, the control will facilitate access to updated information , making it possible to achieve greater administrative rationalization.
