INNOVATION ENVIRONMENTS AS A TOOL TO PROMOTE ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND THE CULTURE OF INNOVATION AT THE UNIVERSITY: a makerspace proposal as an innovation environment for Ufopa
maker space; innovation environment
The maker movement within universities has been a revolution that generates process improvements through a network of references from the internet, bringing to light the third university revolution, which gave the possibility of educational institutions to become entrepreneurs and innovators. In this context, the creation of a maker space brings the possibility of developing computational thinking, creative capacity and encouraging research, allied to the social commitment that education must have, particularly in the northern region of the country. Therefore, the objective of this work is to propose a maker space model for the Federal University of Oeste do Pará-Ufopa, detailing its management model and participation as an active actor for the local innovation ecosystem. For this, we sought to know the existing practices and management models of makerspaces linked to universities, using a review study from secondary sources, institutional websites, books, journal articles and articles from the annals of events, found through searches in databases of scientific works. Still, the application consists of conducting a questionnaire survey to those responsible for the centers belonging to the FabLabs network, and spaces do in Brazil, as well as content analysis and the action-research process and articulation with the institution's stakeholders to validation of the proposal and subsequent creation of a maker space project at Ufopa.
