Research objective: to present a multilateral business model for the process of selling waterway tickets in the western region of Pará through the implementation of a Web platform. Theoretical framework: the study addresses the current deficiencies in the commercialization of waterway tickets in the western region of Pará and how the use of a platform with a multilateral business model can provide improvements for this type of activity. Methodology: the research has a technological nature as it produces a software platform prototype with a qualitative approach. Field research was adopted to collect information and the main needs to guide the development of the platform with the proposed business model, making use of the scrum development framework. 2 Results: the results showed that after mapping processes, modeling canvas of the activity of commercialization of waterway tickets, that the multilateral business model through a Web platform can boost the modernization of this activity in addition to resolving pending regulatory issues of shipping companies that operate in the sector. Originality: this research is one of the first that presents a proposal as an alternative to solve a historical problem experienced throughout the North region by proposing a business model that supports the activity of commercialization of waterway tickets with a specific focus on the region that comprises the West of the Pará. Theoretical and practical contributions: the results of the work may guide new approaches to solving the problem, especially aspects that could not be covered in the research due to the scope of water transport activity in the North region.
