SUMMARY:

Scientific and Technological and Innovation Institutions, with the help of Technological Innovation Centers, must adopt Intellectual Property management policies, drawing up legal instruments, among which we highlight the Secrecy and Confidentiality Policy (PSC), adapting the academic environment to the regulatory context . In this context, this research sought to present a formal document with the objective of protecting the data, information and sensitive knowledge generated by the University and the confidential information agreed in legal instruments of RD&I partnership and licensing and technology transfer. The freedom to socialize knowledge was one of the most discussed factors within the scope of the research, since Ifes has as one of its principles the universality of knowledge. The interaction between the Ifes and public and private companies is also highlighted in the research, in the relationships of partnerships aimed at research, development and innovation activities. In this way, the treatment of sensitive information, data and knowledge, arising from research, must be treated with caution and in the academic environment, PSC accepted the confidentiality procedure in course conclusion work benches, confidentiality procedure in RD&I projects, in strategic institutional partnerships and the confidentiality of outsourced workers, interns, monitors, fellows and volunteers participating in RD&I projects. Therefore, this work, from the perspective of the theories found in the consulted bibliographies, as well as in the studies carried out in the electronic portals of other Educational Institutions, aimed to present a proposal for an Institutional Policy of Secrecy and Confidentiality for Ufopa.
