In the world, chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are responsible for around 60% of the causes of death across the planet, affecting around 35 million people per year, with a 17% increase expected over the next decade. In Brazil, with the aging of the population and the increase in life expectancy, resulting from demographic changes, technological and scientific advances in all areas of life, contribute to changes in the morbidity and mortality profile and increased prevalence of chronic diseases, including chronic kidney disease. Objective: To map the epidemiological and sociodemographic profile of patients undergoing Renal Replacement Therapy from the Municipality of Oriximiná in Santarém Pará. Methodological procedures: Descriptive, retrospective, documentary study with a qualitative and quantitative approach using primary data about cases of Renal Replacement Therapy with input at the Oriximiná municipal health department. comprising the public from 2013 to 2023. Results: It is expected that, at the end of this research, we will be able to know the epidemiological profile of patients undergoing Renal Replacement Therapy as well as the reality in which patients live. From there, define strategies that help the implementation of public policies that can achieve effective actions for the implementation of a hemodialysis room in the municipality of Oriximiná, contributing to the promotion and prevention of health for the population.
