THE USE OF ICT AS A PEDAGOGICAL RESOURCE IN THE CONTEXT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: A STUDY OF EDUCATIONAL PRACTICES IN HIGH SCHOOLS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SANTARÉM-PA

ABSTRACT
The Covid-19 pandemic caused a radical change to the entire educational sector in the world and in Brazil, due to social distancing thousands of schools were closed, which caused profound changes in educational processes. In this scenario, Emergency Remote Teaching (ERE) emerges and the teaching-learning relationship starts to be mediated by TDICs. This research aims to: investigate, in dialogue with the media education, the use of TDICs in educational practices and strategies adopted in high schools in the city of Santarém-Pará, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to map the lessons learned from the experience of teachers in emergency remote teaching, taking into account their meanings and functions, as well as diagnosing the digital competences of teachers in the surveyed schools. Among the theoretical references, the study of digital culture or cyberculture, the relationship between education and technologies, the field of media-education and media literacy stands out.
