SUMMARY:

This research starts from the analysis of the sociocultural identity theme in the BNCC (Base Nacional Comum Curricular) of the State of Pará, and in other normative curricular documents of government responsibility, constituted for guidance and fulfillment of its dispositions. The elaboration and construction of these documents give us indications that the ideological mechanisms present in texts of this nature are not favorable to a space of criticism and other approaches that go against their hegemonic characteristics of power. Analyzing the roles played by participants in certain institutional contexts in the dimensions of the CDA (Critical Discourse Analysis) in its relational Dialectic aspect of Fairclough (2001) as well as investigating how the modes of operation of ideology classified by Thompson (2011) are situated in the text are the main objectives of this research. The official curriculum documents will be the research point from which we will draw theoretical foundations in related areas. Thus, the data to be generated involves finding out how power relations are manifested from the three-dimensional concept of the theory, which simultaneously encompasses the text, an example of discursive practice and an example of social practice and whether they are liable to influences, reproduction or social changes. In this way, the questions start from the attempt to “build”, shape or define a riverside identity according to the curricular proposal.
