RESUMO:

Educational processes are organized as central elements of human formation, in the current juncture of innumerable transformations in society, the need to consider the new knowledge and contexts in which education occurs. Within the set of new needs and knowledge is the body / corporeality and education theme. This study also brings the issue of sport, specifically soccer, to dialogue with the themes mentioned. Thus relating these issues in a non-formal environment - professional football clubs - fosters reflections that can contribute to rethinking the educational processes in contemporary times. The body from Corporeity intends to surpass the Cartesian perspective in understanding what is life, man and the phenomenon of education. The corporeity linked to the sport makes it possible to see what makes it meaningful, pleasurable, creative and committed to the human condition. Thus, this research aims to analyze the body conceptions of professional soccer players in the light of the theoretical perspective of Corporeity. It will be held in the municipality of Santarém – Pará, having as participants seventy professional soccer players who maintained a labor relationship at the time of this study with any of the three clubs of the municipality that disputed the Pará soccer championship. It is characterized as a phenomenological approach research and is based on the theoretical propositions of Corporeity and studies that discuss body and education today. For the production of the data we use the following means: a) bibliographic review of the scientific production on the theme body and education of the Courses and Graduate Programs in Education of the Northern Region, b) sociodemographic questionnaire, c) semi-structured and form interviews written. Data analysis will be done through the Technique of Preparation and Analysis of Meaning Units of Moreira, Simões and Porto (2005). It is considered that this research raises reflections on the body instrumentalization allowing to think of alternatives to overcome the fragmentation of human existence, especially the figure of the professional soccer player and the football environment, understood as a non-formal space in which multiple processes occur. which unfold into possibilities of human formation, the one who experiences directly - players and other professionals, and indirectly - spectators and society in general, processes that are limited to body conceptions and more broadly to the way corporeality is conceived and experienced in the different contemporary social space.
