CHILD LITERARY ART AND AESTHETIC EDUCATION
literature. Children's books. Aesthetic education.
The present research in progress intends to understand what is what has been called children's literature before the question of why to read literature with children. Establishing this relationship implies establishing what has been researched and produced in recent years about children's literature and its concrete object, the book, which has children as its addressee. The objective of this work is to establish a distinction between the concepts of children's books and literature, and the concept of aesthetic education for children. The bibliographic survey was carried out based on the search, on digital platforms and also in physical material, of documents related to the terms of the specific theme, open and undated, and based on the representativeness of the selected references for the specific field of reading children's literature and its relationship with public policies for reader training and education, based on a consistent theoretical/referential foundation for the proposed field.
