FULL-TIME EDUCATION IN THE METROPOLITAN REGION OF SANTARÉM/PA: ANALYSIS OF MATERIAL AND IMMATERIAL CONDITIONS
Full-time education; Metropolitan Region of Santarém/PA; Integral Education in the Amazon context.
This research has the general objective of analyzing the material and immaterial conditions in schools that have developed full-time induction programs in the Metropolitan Region of Santarém/PA (RMS/PA), for the implementation of policies inducing integral education. To achieve the proposed objective, we used the technique of bibliographic and documentary analysis where the research is structured based on: the construction of a mapping of research that has already been carried out at PPGE/UFOPA regarding Integral Education in the Metropolitan Region of Santarém/PA, with time frame between the years 2015 and 2020, as a starting point to understand how public policies for integral education have been implemented in the western region of Pará; From the bibliographic survey, we noticed that there is a need to deepen the analysis of the material and immaterial conditions of schools through educational platforms: QEdu – Educational Data; PNE Observatory; and LDE/UFPR Educational Data Laboratory. The results reveal that the conditions of the schools are insufficient to deal with structural issues of the broader educational policy such as: personnel policy (bonds, training and professional development), a common curriculum that guarantees all the knowledge necessary for comprehensive training and appropriate conditions in the physical infrastructure of schools, as these are conditions to develop actions that induce full-time education in the Metropolitan Region of Santarém, require adjustments to guarantee the implementation of actions that induce full-time education. It concludes by highlighting that comprehensive education needs to be based on the principles of autonomy and emancipation, however, these principles have not been made viable from a material and immaterial point of view.
